Synopsis: 
Odin the King, and the entire kingdom is concerned because Baldur  the beloved Prince is having "long and harmful, fierce and evil dreams ". Friegge, the mother of Baldur invokes an incantation (in song ) to protect him from any possible thing on earth that could harm him. However, she forgets one tiny plant, the mistletoe.  Loki, the evil one does everything he can to destroy Baldur out of jealousy and tries to use his poisoned mistletoe to accomplish this. Cyllene, a vamp-like character, also tries to protect Baldur. She is in love with him. The Flame, who lives in a waterfall, narrates the story.   She is a spirit friend who is not of earth, but is the character Baldur is the most intrigued with and who becomes very important to him in the end.
