Bluegrass masters Peter Feldmann & Blaine Sprouse, combine in a program of fiddle tunes, country songs, hillbilly comedy, and country blues, all of which encompass origins of what is known as bluegrass music. They'll present combinations of fiddle, banjo, guitar, and mandolin, sharing the music of Bill Monroe, The Carter Family, Jimmie Rodgers and other country music pioneers. Peter, founder of the Santa Barbara Old Time Fiddlers' Convention, has brought authentic country and bluegrass music to the south copast for more than 50 years. Blaine Sprouse is in a direct line of great West Virginia fiddlers,having performed with many of bluegrass' founding fathers, such as Bill Monroe, Jimmy Martin, Jim & Jesse, etc.

The show will take place at the S.Y. Valley Grange Hall, 2374 Alamo Pintado, in downtown Los Olivos, California on Saturday evening, March 14th at 8:00 PM. Advance tickets, priced at $12.00, are available on-line at BlueGrassWest.com and at The Book Loft at 1680 Mission Drive in Solvang. Doors open at 7:30 PM.
